Salar is a unique minority in Qinghai Xunhua. Salar people create their own civilization. Their camel dance during their marriage process will tell you their origin. About 700 hundred years ago a caravan from the Central Asia lost their way home and they finally settled down in Qinghai close to the Yellow River. They live and marry with the local Tibetans and other nations. They call themselves Salar. They keep their own Islam traditions and living style and blend them with that of the locals. So this thesis fully studies the camel dance and finds the cultural explanation of the dance.
