Research On Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System Based On Data-mining

As the acceleration of the informationization, people are aware of the huge economic value of competitive intelligence gradually. Competitive Intelligence is the information gathered and analyzed about competitive environment. Therefore, in the course of the informationization, establishing Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System (ECIS) has become a strategic choice for all enterprises. However, as the information sources grow rapidly, the traditional ECIS's shortcomings are obvious. Traditional ECIS are unable to meet the need of enterprises'development, so new technology and methods are asked to be used in it. The emergence and development of data-mining has provided new momentum for competitive intelligence system.The meaning and the purpose of the topic are clarified in this dissertation at first, and then the present using situation is introduced in it on some extend. Secondly, the related concept about the CI and ECIS is introduced in the dissertation. Follow it, this dissertation introduces the general method, mining technology and common objects of data-mining. Meanwhile, it introduces the application of Support Vector Machine and data-mining in ECIS in detail. At last, it proposes that data-mining technology integrate in the three subsystems of traditional ECIS to improve the competition of traditional ones. At the same time, it establishes an ECIS model based on data-mining, and analyzes its structure and function. Then the dissertation quotes a case of Shanghai Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. This dissertation could provide some reference for the establishment of a modern ECIS.
