The incentive of knowledge workers is one of the important topics of enterprise management during the era of knowledge economy. As a major means of incentive, the compensation incentive, which plays a decisive role in the improvement of knowledge workers'satisfaction and enthusiasm, has become the core of knowledge workers management. However, there are still a lot of problems in the compensation incentive of knowledge workers in Chinese enterprise at present, mainly in the following aspect:the low lever of monetary compensation, the unreasonable structure of compensation, the no-market-standard of compensation incentive, the lack of long-term incentive and the compensation incentive mechanism hasn't been formed yet.Based on the above background,this paper chooses the compensation incentive of knowledge workers in Chinese enterprise as the major subject,and analyzes the reasons for the weakening of incentive effects from the economics and management perspectives. Then, the paper not only summarizes the domestic experience of compensation incentive, but also learns from general means of compensation incentive in developed country. Linked up the characteristic and demand of knowledge workers in our country, the paper proposes that enterprises should follow the fairness, integrity, difference, long residual action and the competitive principle so as to strengthen the compensation incentive. Besides, it has designed a compensation incentive system for knowledge workers and takes CB Corporation and G&B enterprise as the example.
