The research on physical distribution and supply chain started in nineteen eighties with a large number of supply chain management theories formed and developed in the past two decades like the stars in multitude. As a result, simple management models evolved into theories such as Just in Time(JIT), Efficiency Consumer Response (ECR), Vendor Management Inventory, Collaborative planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) etc. Enterprises nowadays start to think more than ever about the Demand Forecasting Theory rooted on the Elaboration Theory (ET). The traditional Demand Forecasting Theory includes Qualitative Forecasting and Quantitative Forecasting. The study here showed not only works out a suitable Periodical Regression Prediction Method based on Black & Decker Power Tools Company's actual demand figures but also verifies the validity of this method through the combination study of related theories as well as data analysis of selected objects. It indicates the loose ends that need to be tied in accordance of company's operational flow chart where the method is applied. It also accentuates the necessity of applying this method to the suitable supporting suppliers especially those private enterprises in order to beef up their competitiveness, to free them from the manacle of blind expansion and to steer them the right direction to the advanced lean production.
