The Strategy Research Of China Foodstuff Import And Export

The problem of Foodstuff import and export is a momentous strategy problem that China has to face to when China is carry out a large-scale operation to realize urbanization. About the problem of food security, China always pays attention to the political benefit while ignores the economic benefit which makes much unnecessary loss and factitiously intensify the internal supply and demand contradiction. Rational analysis is necessary about the problem of food security. Especially under the integration with the global economy, the international supply and demand contradiction should be considered, and the internal environment also should be considered. It is wrong to keep food security under close environment which will bring big kickback. From the dynamic viewpoint, the level of food security is high in China at present, but in the long term, the food security problem in our country is very severe when the population is growing and agricultural acreage is decreasing which is caused by the industrialization, and regulating the internal food market by utilizing the international market is inevitable.This article is made up of five chapters, and expounds the problem by this logic:The first chapter is introduction which mainly introduces the research background, research meaning, document summary, research method, structure, innovation and limitations.The second chapter is the overview of the foodstuff and international Competitiveness theories which mainly expounds the relative theories of foodstuff production, foodstuff reserve, foodstuff circulation and international Competitiveness.The third chapter is the analysis of the present strategy of China foodstuff import and export. At first, the current situation of China foodstuff import and export is analyzed, and the international competitiveness of China foodstuff import and export is analyzed by using the comparative advantage index and net export index. The second part is the analysis about the system and policies of China foodstuff import and export.Based on the present strategy analysis, the forth chapter analyzes the problems and new trends China foodstuff import and export which includes the problems of indefinite position, inconspicuous stage attribute, unsuitable policies for the internal food market, and paying too much attention to the food security problem.The fifth chapter is the terminative part. It adjusts the strategies of China foodstuff export and import; putting forward the idiographic and operational measures such as perfecting the market of foodstuff by valorizing and improving the product of foodstuff; consummating the sustaining system of foodstuff price, the storage system of foodstuff and remaining the policies of foodstuff to eliminate the instability of foodstuff export and import. Consolidating the existing foodstuff market could remain long and steady export of foodstuff. Using comparative advantage solves the problem of the balance of supply and demand of China's foodstuff.
