Study Of Logistics Services In Fangchenggang Port Based On The Shipping Companies' Demand

With the development of economic globalization, modern logistics will become an important industry and new points of economic growth in the century. The rapid development of modern logistics has created new opportunities for the further development and a higher demand. For example, the large ships need deep-water berths, modern logistics services require the modem-art information systems and so on .In order to survive and develop better in the new environment. Ports are not limited to traditional enterprise around the port handling, transport, storage and other service functions, but in transition towards modern logistics, providing a wide range of modern logistics services.The objective and market positioning of different levels and different types of port business are different in our country, logistic services in each port can not blind to follow and compete, but should act in line with its own port logistics services development strategy and mode. As the only coastal and national hub port in Guangxi, Fangchenggang' port logistics services is still in the early stages of development for historical problem. Firstly, based on shipping companies' demands, the author analyses the problems of logistics services in Fangcheng port .Secondly, the author summarizes the mode of port logistics services from Domestic and foreign ports. Thirdly, the author evaluates the mode of Fangchenggang's logistics services by using AHP. Finally, the author makes the mode of supply chain that it centres on Fangcheng port.
