Relationship Between Port And Port Logistics Industry Cluster Economic Development

Along with the acceleration of economic globalization, the division of labor in theglobal scope is deepening, international trade has become the major internationalexchange activities, the transport and exchange of trade goods between countries makesports became increasingly important. Port economic develops rapidly under thebackground of the globalization, port economy provides capital and human resourcesfor the port logistics industry development, at the same time, put forward higher requestto the port logistics service. The purpose of paper is to explore the relationship betweenthe port logistics industry cluster and the port economic development.To study this relationship, the paper uses qualitative analysis and quantitativeanalysis to discuss the aspects. For qualitative aspects, the paper elaboratethes relatedconcepts and characteristics of the port logistics industry cluster and the port economicdevelopment, analyzes both the inner link between them and build and state the indexsystem. For quantitative aspects, the paper introduces the gray correlation model andcointegration equilibrium model to correlationly analysis the port logistics industrycluster and the port economic development of various index respectively.Finally, the paper choose the shanghai port as a case study, through the greycorrelation analysis to the calculate correlation of the indicators between Shanghai portlogistics industry cluster and Shanghai port economic development,then throughcorrelation size sorting to analysis the correlation between different indexes. In addition,Through co-integration equilibrium analysis of the main indicators of Shanghai portlogistics industry cluster and the main index in the development of Shanghai porteconomy analysis,to study the equilibrium relationship between indicators.Throughanalysis to put forward Suggestions for the Shanghai port logistics industry and porteconomy development.
