The Research On The Influence Of Inbound Tourism On Hunan Economic Development

Recent years saw the centre of global tourism gradually moving to the Asia-Pacific area, and with the increasing international tourists swarming into our country, China has become one of the safest and most attractive travel destinations. The role of tourism serve trade in the development of the whole economy is becoming more and more important; meanwhile, inbound tourism becomes an essential part in the tourism service trade system. Therefore, putting great effort to promote inbound tourism will become an effective method to promote our economic growth. Hunan is abundant with tourism resources, and the development of inbound tourism will definitely promote other trades, just like the saying goes"one trade is popular, hundred trades will be prosperous". But until now we can see no deep studies on the relationship between inbound tourism and economic development in Hunan, which, therefore, became the key point of this thesis.At the beginning of this thesis, some conceptions and theories concerning inbound tourism and tourism service trade were defined and expounded, and systematic analysis of the current situation of inbound tourism both in Hunan and in the whole China were made. Based on the above, deep theoretical analysis was conducted as to the influence mechanism of inbound tourism on the economic development in Hunan, from the perspectives of increasing employment and promoting the development of other related industries. At the same time, case study also was conducted as to the influence of the inbound tourism on the development of local economy in Zhang Jiajie, which basically verified the effectiveness of this influence mechanism. The conclusion was drawn based on the above analyses, that is, inbound tourism is an important factor to promote the economy in Hunan, which can not only increase employment and people's income, but also lead the development of some related industries, and finally improve the regional economic growth. What's more, although tourism is prosperous in Hunan, some problems still exist as to the current situation of inbound tourism. Then, how to learn from other's successful experience? How to find a suitable way to develop it? Some practical and operable suggestions were given, aimed at contributing a lot to the further development of inbound tourism trade as well as the whole economy in Hunan.
