Passenger-Dedicated Line is railway passenger transportation's future and the base of"hardware". The adaptive marketing "software"------customer value theory is aresearch aspect of marketing field. So, it is important to theory and application that research on competitive advantage of Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. based on customer value. It can lead Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. to change notion and understand the important of passenger by surveying customer value; it can lead Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. to gain durative competitive advantage and boost competitive power by analyzing the element of customer value; it can also lead Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. to make competitive policies and gain advantage in passenger transportation market by contrasting to competitor's customer value.Firstly, the thesis describes the research background and significance, and review current research of correlative theory. Secondly, the thesis discusses the theories and methods used in this thesis particularly, it includes customer value theory, competitive advantage theory, the relation of them and the method to gain competitive advantage based on customer value. Thirdly, the thesis brings up a model of the relationship of customer value and competitive advantage, then proves that customer value is an important antecedent to competitive advantage with the help of Beijing railway station's empirical researches by the author, then set a flow model of Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. to gain competitive advantage based on customer value. Finally, the thesis uses the theory and model to research empirically jing-jin Passenger-Dedicated Lines Co. how to gain competitive and brings up the strategy of competitive advantage in competitive advantage factors, competitive difference factors and factors waited for analysis.
