In the 21st century, human society has entered the information age. At present, IT industry has already become the main drive for economic growth in our country. IT enterprises possess highly clustered science and technology content, and their characteristics have determined that IT talents with core technology are important for the development of enterprises. However, just owing to such characteristics as high technology content, fast speed of knowledge updating, etc.; employees of IT enterprises tend to work under more and greater pressure. Thus, the level of job satisfaction is lower. As the degree of job satisfaction directly affects employees' behaviors and achievements, to raise job satisfaction of employees and take the building of organizational culture as a new means to improve it is the subject in urgent need to be studied and solved by executives and researchers of IT enterprises.The main purpose of this study is to get the current situation of the knowledge owned by employees of Xi'an IT enterprises about types of organizational culture and their job satisfaction, to further analyze the differences of varied demographic variables with regard to the above two items, and in the meantime, to discuss the effects of different organizational cultures on job satisfaction of employees and provide some concrete suggestions.The subjects of this study, which have drawled 124 samples in total, focused on 8 IT enterprises in Xi'an. The measuring tables of organizational culture developed by Wallach and Minnesota Inventory designed Weiss are used as tools for study. An analysis of all the data collected is made by statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, K. Pearson product-moment correlation and multiage regressions etc. so as to verify the research hypotheses. The research results are as follows: the organizational culture of Xi'an IT enterprises accents the tendency toward innovative culture and supportive culture; the IT enterprises employees perceived higher satisfaction on extrinsic satisfaction and general satisfaction; and innovative culture and supportive culture exert positive influences on job satisfaction of employees.In addition to explanation of the findings, this study also includes a discussion of the application of the study result. Moreover, some suggestions for future study are raised, including: IT enterprises should pay great attention to the influence of organizational culture, establish definite and suitable organizational culture, respect and value employee differences, and promote employee job satisfaction.
