With China's entering WTO,the competition between corporations becomes more furious.R&D plays a more and more important role in the production value chain,which composes of marketing,manufacturing,purchasing,and R&D.Some international corporations pay lots of attention on the top of this chain,which means to enhance the core competitive abilities by strengthening R&D abilities.R&D abilities will be the important drive and power of high-tech corporations' survival and derelopment,and it is also the strategic element to a corporation that wants to be the top ones in the world.The R&D people decide the copportations' success or failure,how to carry a valid management on them,which has a direct influence on the achievements of the corporations' goals.However, because of the long-term system and values,many domestic corporations do not have an adequate understanding of the important roles that R&D people play.So they do not pay enough attention on valid management of R&D people.Therefore,how to set up an effective management on R&D people becomes an urgent problem to deal with.This thesis is focused on R&D people.Firstly,it puts forward with the features of R&D people and basic management theories about them.Secondly select a globel company motor factory R&D department as a typical case to investigate,throught the questionnaire, face to face communication and refer to the company's document information,gain the R&D people management method.The research of this thesis has a common meaning,it also can be used by other corporations for reference.
