Starting with the importance of project feasibility risk management and its latest development in the world, the paper analyses and compares several different risk management measures in present days, and finally comes up with a creative risk management method for the project feasibility study composed of risk identifing, risk analyzing, risk handling and risk controlling. After the completion of theoretic research, this method has been applied to the project feasibility risk study of revamping the chain conveyer of laying-down coils of Baosteel's 2050 Hot Rolling Mill, which is described in the paper, and it helps to prove that this revamping project is characterized with strong anti-risk abilities and is feasible as a whole. So the conclusion is that the revamping project is reasonable. It also proves that the project feasibility risk management theories and methods are effective and meaningful in our work.In the paper, a complete definition of project feasibility risk management is given for the first time. And two new creative methods, namely the rapid risk cutting and research through experiment, are suggested and applied in work. It's true that the project feasibility risk management has both theoretic and pragmatic meanings.
