Research On Production Capacity Management In Chongqing Wangjiang Factory

With the development of market competition, the change and update of the customers' need bring the challenge and opportunity for discrete manufacturing enterprises. Using advanced manufacturing technology and management methods is the important measures of improving the competition capability to improve production capability and efficiency of enterprise production system. The multi-categories and small-lot production mode becomes the dominant mode. It is the urgent affairs to assess the production capability by rule and line in the new production measures in the violent market competition. The production capability is changed with the change of production control and technical conditions. In the multi-categories and small-lot production mode, labor ration and experience estimate have been replaced by monitoring the production capability in spots and changing the system controlling capability. They have been out of reason.In modern times, the mensuration capability system possesses controlling, self-adaptability and self-study. So they can control production and adapt the market change rapidly.Production capacity management plays an important role during the whole process from planning to actual production. And there are so many various factors outside or inside whose varieties will result in the changes of capacity supply and demand.The main task of this subject is to build an appropriate, integrated and effective capacity management system to provide an assistant decision-making tool to improve enterprise's capacity management level. In this dissertation, some relevant theories and methods are put forward to be studied firstly. Then some critical questions involved in production capacity management are analysed and researched in detail. Based on these studies above, functional characteristics of capacity management system are summarized and a method to improve production capacity is advanced, besides the functional and information modals are established. Based on the aluminum product workshop production, a capacity management system is designed which can realize the balance of capacity and load and can track the production planning dynamically. At last, the capacity management software was developed. The results of the application in practice show the advantages and practicability of the system.
