Exploitation And Sustainable Development Of Eco-Tourism Of Ningdong Forest Park Of Shaanxi

Ningdong Forest Park of Shaanxi, located on the south slope of the middle Qingling, is actually a part of the Qingling Central National Park, which is one of the 6 key tourism districts to develop in Shaanxi according to the Eleventh Five-year Plan of Tourism Industry of Shaanxi. The park is in the central area of the triangle tourism network formed by Xi'an, Ankang and Hanzhong, and on the north of the inter-provincial tour line of Xi'an—An'kang—Chongqing—Zhang Jiajie. This paper, based on sufficient field investigation, mainly studies for the practical measures for exploitation and sustainable development of eco-tourism of Ningdong Forest Park. The results are as follows:(1) The forest park is divided into five functional districts in terms of the landscape characteristics, the spatial distribution of the major scenic spots, the layout of the tour lines and tourist functions. The 5 districts are the eco-sightseeing district, the research and field study district, the recreational district, the visitor service district and the management district. In terms of the eco-tourist attractions, the park can be divided into 4 separate visitor attraction districts, namely Pingheliang District, Xunyangba District, Xiangtangou District and Haogounao District.(2) Investigation found that the forest park comprises 53 specific scenic spots, of which 45 are existing natural spots and 8 are to be built. By the nature of the ecotourism attraction spots, 13 are physiographical, 24.5% of the total; 15 are water attraction, 28.3% of the total; 13 are biological attractions, 24.5% of the total, 5 are celestial and climatic, 9.5% of the total and the human attractions including 7 spots only account for 13.2% of the total.(3) according to the current situation and spatial distribution of the scenic spots, the eco-tourist product to be developed in the Ningdong Forest Park include:①eco-sightseeing products, including sightseeing to the forest-meadow area, the landscape sight tour along the Moon River, the water sights tour in Dieshuigou and Qingling sight tours.②Summer-resort and recreational products, including the Forest Sea Summer Resort, the Recreational and Holiday Area in Haogou and folk culture tour area in Xunyangba.③The Exploration and Camping tour, including experiences of adventure mountain climbing in Haogou,the adventure tour in the pristine forest and the camping tour in Pingheliang.④Health and entertainment products, including mountain top skiing, eco-health tour, field exercise tour, folk art exhibition and recreational activities on water surface.⑤Scientific research tour⑥Eco-agricultural tour.(4) The thematic image of the eco-tourism of the park can be summarized as in terms of the location, regional features, resources nature, landscape characteristics and the highlights of the attractions: The first-level image: high meadow, cool Ningdong The secondary image: Pingheliang, pure nature and colorful culture(5) The promotion of the Ningdong Forsest Park shall be implemented with the theme of"high meadow, cool Ningdong".
