Port Logistics has become a city driven development of important factors. Presently, the modern port logistics has the characteristics of Internationalization, systematization, multi-purpose, standardization and information. The development of the logistics can not leave from the port, and it has created the new opportunity for the development of the port. Meanwhile, it required the port which has the function of transportation promoted to the platform of the logistics and the center of collection and dividing. Being the union of Water transportation and road transportation, the port is the important link in the road transportation. At the same time, as an important information center, the port has collected the massive financial information, the technical information, the commercial information, and even the policy guidance information. Therefore, the port has the pivotal function in the development of the logistics in our country, simultaneously, and set higher requirements on port logistics technology program.Presently, in the major port of the word, the second-generation port started to reform to the third generation. Those port of Singapore and Rotterdam walking in the front row, they still not have the function of the third generation port completely. At present, the reforming to third generation port of the major port in our country is still at the start stage. According to the development, goal and the demanding of their own, it is a question that how to get the full understanding of the logistics technology and using the logistics technology reasonable and gradually.Therefore, this thesis researched on the characteristics of port logistics and its technology program.The content of the theses is divided into seventh parts .Chapter 1 is the foreword, explained the meaning and purpose of this thesis mainly, and the current research as well as the introduction of the status quo. Chapter 2 mainly expounded the port, port logistics and port logistics of modern technology programs related theories, Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 is the focus of this paper, By conceding with the main features of the modem port and the modern logistics requirements of the development, we get the principles of choosing the modern logistics technology program of the port and evaluation indicators system, and create the evaluation indicators system of the modern logistics technology program. Chapter sixth using the evaluation methods of qualitative and quantitative compared the good and bad points of each modern logistics technology program.
