Along with the knowledge economy, the strategic fellowship becomes more and more important under the direction of dynamic and globalization competition. Meanwhile, the global retail industry develop more and more fast, and the responsibilities of retail industry are providing right commodities felicitously to customers on right quality and right price in right time and place. The supply chain management gets the advantage place in the enterprise and the academic field because of its capacity of response, flexibility and low costing., and the function of the supply chain management in strengthening the communication of retail enterprises and exerting the overall dominance is undoubtedly, so the competition is not between the isolated business, but the supply chain. But the dominance of supply chain management is also its latent hotbed of risks. There are possibilities of disconnection in all of the linkages of the supply chain of retail industry. Besides, the risks of supply chain also have magnification effect. If any linkage has problems, the following negative influences will affect the entire supply chain system of retail industry, not only certain retail enterprise. And because the risks usually have bursting characteristics and unacquaintance, it is difficult to forecast and control the management risks of other enterprises for each enterprise of the supply chain of retail industry. This part also discusses the necessity and the importance of study on supply chain risk management of retail industry, and introduces the status of domestic and overseas researches of this subject. Part two introduces the development situation of retail industry and the concepts and theory of supply chain management of retail industry, risk management and supply chain risk management. Part three finds out the origins and influencing factors of supply chain risk of retail industry via identification and estimate of supply chain risk of retail industry to ground for the evaluation of supply chain risk of retail industry. Part four bases on the complete analysis of supply chain risk factors of retail industry to evaluate the supply chain risk of retail industry by employing PERT means. Then it brings forward the evaluation basis of supply chain risk of retail industry completely.
