A Research On The Development Strategy Of China Modern Service Industry

With the fast development of China economy-culture-science and technology, service industry gradually comes into being along with different social stages and displays different contents and modalities. Unquestionably, service industry plays a strategic role in our country's future prosperity. Following the development of society, modern service industry is also unceasingly extending. China"Eleventh Five-Year Plan"proposing to develop the modern service industry, the intention of its essence is to transform the national economy from the manufacture industry impetus pattern into the modern service industry impetus pattern.Starting from the two basic concepts of service and modern service, basing on other scholars'research, this paper profoundly discusses service development principle; creatively summarizes the modern service industry's 6 characteristics. And then, through using these characteristics as a dimension to define what the modern service is, it has overcome the pity of traditional definition always having limitation. Analyzing the development status of China service industry, we discover that China service industry's quantity is deficient, its structure is unreasonable, and its competitiveness is weak. Therefore, we propose a new viewpoint that the modern service has gradually become the dominant power to promote the development of service industry. And according to this viewpoint, this paper systematically elaborates the achievements and problems in China modern service industry development; meanwhile, it makes some thinking from the demand and the supply yet. Presently, since the international service data is scarce, the service statistical caliber is different in every country, and the international service has not formed a perfect operation pattern yet, so the academia's systematical research on international service's transnational operation steps forward difficultly, even the finished work still has some immature places. In Part 3, with an intention to construct the frame of modern service's transnational operation research, this paper aims to do some basic work for subsequent research, proposes that our country should take corresponding measures with the international economy development, and also tentatively marks out China's modern service's transnational operation strategy. In the final part, this paper gives out some not only detailed but also feasible countermeasure suggestions on the development strategy of China modern service industry, such as advocating to develop technology knowledge service, paying attention to society service industry and energetically standardizing it, suggesting government departments drawing support from market power to strengthen supervision and so on.
