A Study On Evaluating Construction Ability Of Electronic Supply Chain

With the economic globalization and the development of computer network,especially the universal usage of internet,social economy is experiencing a tremendous revolution.Being the inevitable product of network economy,electronic business has caused a revolution in economic field.It has a great impact on people's way of thinking,working and living.Emergence of E-commerce has provided the enterprise supply chain construction with stronger information support and broad development space.Using modern information technology,E-commerce could largely enhance the core competition strength of enterprise by restructuring and integrating business process,and building business partnership union with supplier and clients.In this circumstance,the competition among different supply chains will be the main theme of enterprise competition in the 21st century.Successfully constructing and evaluating electronic supply chain has become focus of international and national research.Nowadays,the study of electronic supply chain construction is still in an infancy stage.A great attention has been paid to study of E-commerce and traditional supply chain,but little attention to combination of them.This means the existing research hardly studies the influencing factor on electronic supply chain and the assessment system of the construction ability.Review on international and national study has shown that,people have proposed several influencing factors of electronic supply chain enterprise,including cooperate parties,information sharing, individual factor,organizational factor,environmental factor and integration of supply chain strategy.International researchers have proposed that the evaluation of supply chain could be divided into three levels,which are strategic level,operational level and outcome level.However, most researches are focusing on outcome level of electronic supply chain,which is,the performance evaluation.The strategic level and operational level straightly have an impact on the outcome level.Therefore,it is important to assess these two levels as well.In practice,Chinese enterprise has begun to recognize and involved in the construction of electronic supply chain.The majority of these enterprises are still in traditional supply chain mode,or with partly electronic supply chain.This paper is discussing and comparing the difference between traditional supply chain and electronic supply chain.The discussion begins with analysis of electronic supply chain theory,combining relevant system evaluation method, with the background of enterprise supply chain.Through the research on critical influencing factor of electronic supply chain,this research has determined the critical influencing factor of electronic supply chain.Meanwhile,the research has built up the assessment system of construction ability of electronic supply chain.Using the methods of fuzzy integrated judgment and analytic hierarchy process,it conduces a fuzzy evaluation on construction ability of enterprise's electronic supply chain.This research will provide a basis for decision-making of strategy of the enterprise's construction of electronic supply chain,which could let these enterprises know which elements and modules should be paid more attention to during procedure of the constructing electronic supply chain.Thus it is beneficial to the assessment of construction ability of electronic supply chain for China's enterprises.This thesis can be divided into six parts:The first chapter briefly demonstrates the background and meaning of the study.It illustrates the current research status of electronic supply chain.The ending of the first chapter simply demonstrates the aim,technique route and content of the research.The second chapter defines the concept of electronic supply chain.Then it analyzes and compares the difference between traditional supply chain and electronic supply chain.The third chapter analyzes and summarizes of the research on influencing factor of electronic supply chain.And then it designs questionnaire and gets critical factors controlling electronic supply chain.SPSS analysis software has been used to give high credit to data obtained form questionnaire survey.The fourth chapter designs assessment system of construction ability of the electronic supply chain based on critical factors controlling electronic supply chain.A fuzzy integrated judgment model of the electronic supply chain is constructed by using a fuzzy integrated judgment theory and analytic hierarchy process method.The fifth chapter uses a representative enterprise Legend as an example to support theoretical model of the thesis.Fuzzy integrated judgment has been made for building ability of the supply chain of Legend.Then it points out problems in the construction procedure of electronic supply chain of China's enterprises and suggestions are also given.The main achievements and creative ideas of the thesis are as follows.(1)Some international and national scholars studied the influencing factors of electronic supply chain.However,most of them were theoretical;little of them are supported by questionnaire.This thesis,based on questionnaire,has systematically analyzed the critical factors during the construction process of enterprise's electronic supply chain.(2)Previous researches were mainly focused on performance evaluation(i.e.,outcome level).This thesis has built assessment system of constructing ability of electronic supply chain at strategic level.And A fuzzy integrated judgment model of the electronic supply chain is constructed by using a fuzzy integrated judgment theory and analytic hierarchy process method.
