Lean Management In Xunjie Car Sales And Service Co., Ltd.

Lean Management theories came from Toyota in 1950s. It brought a revolution in manufacturing. Since then, Lean Management has been widely executed in manufacturing and got great success. But Lean Management theories were seldom used in service industry, especially in China. With the fast developing of service industry, most of the service enterprises want to improve service quality and cut down costs. The Lean Management is the right way to reach the goal.Xunjie Car Sales and Service CO., LTD. was founded in 2001. Its'core business is car sales and repairing. It got the franchise of FAW TOYOTA Moter Sales CO., LTD.in 2004. For many reasons, Xunjie didn't operate as well as other similar companies. With the developing of car service industry, the competition becomes stronger. Xuejie's situation looks ugly. It will meet serious challenge.The object of this paper is to cut down costs, improve service quality and construct the core-competitiveness in Xunjie by using Lean Management theories. It also wants to explore the executing of Lean Management theories in service industry.This paper briefly introduced the theories of Lean Management and Service Operation Management and analysised the operation condition of Xunjie. It also introduced the plan of executing Lean Management theories in Xunjie, including the overall object, rules and organization ect.This paper particularly discussed the method of using Lean Management tools in Xuejie.At last it gave the ideas, such as optimizing business process, reducing waste and enhancing the capability of the staff ect.In order to write this paper, the author consulted some bookes about Lean Management and Service Operation Management and looded into a lot of usefull information providing by Xunjie. The author integrated theory with practice and explored a usefull way. It can make Xunjie succeed in executing Lean Management and operate better.
