The Study Of Risk Evaluation And Risk Avoidance In Information Technology Outsourcing

Evert walk of life can share the benefits from Information Technology when IT outsourcing emerges. IT outsourcing give us a lot of benefits, but it also gives us a lot of risks. This paper analyzes risk identify and risk avoidance in IT outsourcing that it can evaluate the risks in IT outsourcing quantitatively and precisely. According to this theory, some advertise are created to avoid risks.First, the study refers to a lot of literatures and it also use questionnaire to identify IT outsourcing risks. Finally, we find the factors can be known from three aspects: Risks from customers, Risks from IT provider, Risks from intercourse. According to the factors, we compile two questionnaires:《IT Risks Questionnaire》and《Customer Risks Questionnaire》.Second, pre-test the questionnaires, the study use SPSS 13.0 to deal with the data. Then the questionnaires are modified that some questions which are not correlated with the result are eliminated. In the last, we do the final test with the final questionnaire.Then, The study use SPSS 13.0 to deal with the final data that all the factors and their own balances are obtained. According to the result, the model can be created. So the risks can be precisely weighed by quantitative factors.Finally, the study put forward some good advises according to the model for how to avoid risks. This can be helpful.
