As a new kind organization, Virtual Organization(VO) has a lot of advantages. Meanwhile, many new risk management problems do exist, such as collaboration risk, disintegration risk and so on.At first, this paper summarizes the relevant literature datum in or out of our country. After analyzing the concept, features, classification, teamwork ways and the relationship with key vendors. Then this paper introduces the reasons, background, of risk of virtual organization, and the differences between risk of virtual organization and that of general organization.Another mainly portion of this thesis are illustrates the formation mechanism of collaboration risk. In order to make qualitative analysis of this risk, Delphi was chose to establish the evaluation model for collaboration risk. After evaluating the risk proportion, It has come to a conclusion that the communication risk and credit risk of key partners play an important role. Then, this paper is to table a proposal of the control ways of risk of virtual organization. To divide the risk of virtual organization into three phases: the prevention before organized, the control in process, and the control after disintegration. Before organized, the important thing is to choose partner carefully and to choose proper cooperation ways. To establish order and strength communication with key partners; then to analyze the risk and to give references to the next virtual organization.At last, to analyze a failure case about a virtual organization of a multinational company, this demonstrates the importance of the collaboration of virtual organization. To bring up the ways of risk control according to the above research.
