In the late 1970s, with the economic reforming, a large number of family firms were set up on the basis of related by blood. Through the course of exploration and development for over 30 years, Chinese family firms have almost become a significant force in moving forward our country's economic growth. Today, Most of the Entrepreneurs in the age of 60-year-old, therefore, family-firm's succession were highlighted; also the study about it has become one major problem in the field of management science researching. The choice of successor for family firms involves the inheritance of families' wealth and the continuance of those family firms' future business. The research of this matter not only puts a significant meaning for the prosperity and continuous development of those family firms, but also has a profound meaning for Chinese economy, the progress of national urbanization, Regional Economic Development. This thesis is researched on the base of knowledge sharing and technical innovation, meanwhile it is done through the positive test with the theoretical analysis of the succession matters for family firms. The supposed propositions were praised by the research of those documents which are about the succession, knowledge sharing and technological innovation of the family-firms, then, a model was designed which is about knowledge sharing, technical innovation and family firms' succession, and two propositions were praised on the basis of this model; Family firm's knowledge sharing has positive correlation with technology capabilities; What who will be family firm's leadership may have positive correlation with the family firm's knowledge sharing; The percentages of top managers who are family members strengthen relationship with the knowledge sharing; The external factors of impacting technological innovation have positive correlations with the family firm's knowledge sharing. These assumptions were positive test accessing to data through questionnaires. All these indicate that the family firm which is shouldered by its family members will be more helpful for its advance in knowledge sharing and technical innovation, thereby it provides a powerful theoretical and practical support for the family firm to choose its successor.Through the course of exploration and development for over 30 years, Chinese family firms have almost become an indispensable part of forming the national economy and a significant force in moving forward our country's economic growth., Chinese family firms make great contributions to our country's Industrialization, informationization, urbanization, marketability, and internationalization. The research of this matter is not only enhance the competitiveness of family firms' but also could make family firms' sustained and healthy development, therefore, family firms play a practical role in the promotion of national process of industrialization, urbanization and the construction of regional economic development, and employment...
