By employing the accepted methods and models, the paper gives an economic evaluation of the power grid planning project. The paper finds that it is financially feasible to undertake this project, the social effect of the project is good since the project will greatly enhance the power supply ability of the city. The project is economically feasible. The paper is aimed to provide some policy suggestions for the related policy makers.
