Since reform and open policy has been put into effect, tourism in China develops rapidly. Now our tourism is in transition period from great to strong, the competition between international and domestic traveling is extremely sharp. The features of touring products that the impossible storability and transferability and interchangeability of traveling destination which decide the competition's quality is brand and spreading measure and effect of information's competition. Who can be more initiative when it can get more traveling information and effectively spreads and controls traveling information against the traveler. But with the gradually deep development of tourism, the change of traveling means and consumable habits asks a higher request to the information of traveling media in content, form, effectiveness. Traveling media must catch up with the development of tourism and do a better service for the travelers and promote tourism's benign development. Based on these reasons above, the paper's research is that analysis our traveling media's development and against its influence to travelers and combine with communication science and raise the tendency of it.The paper contains five chapters which systematically elaborates on the development and influence to travelers of traveling media and its tendency.Preface, introduces briefly the general conditions of traveling media's development and the research sense, the domestic and foreign research survey of this issue and the measures used in this paperChapter 2,the concept viewed from traveling studies and communication science's angle and significance of traveling media, the conditions of domestic and foreign research survey of it and its importance to tourism.Chapter 3, the development survey of traveling media. Classifies traveling media three types: traveling books, traveling TV programs and traveling webs. Introduces the development and process of the three types and points out the default each one to discuss the tendency of traveling media behind.Chapter 4, the influence of traveling media to travelers. By using the theory of Mimicry environment, expands the process of traveling media's influence on travelers'mentality, traveling ways and consumable habits.Chapter 5, the tendency of traveling media. Combining with the features of every traveling media and the change of traveling information's demands, points out both of traveling medias should cooperate mutually in the future and enlarge brand creation, etc. Does a better service for tourists and gear up tourism's benign development.Conclusion, elaborates the importance and trend of traveling media and points out the research meaning and limitations of the paper.
