Study On The Inter-action Between Development Zones And Modern Service Industry

As a policy of opening to the outside world, Development districts have made big contributions to Chinese economic growth since they were established 20 years ago, specially on these aspects, such as attracting foreign capital, importing advanced technology and management thoughts, assembling famous international companies of world and so on. Therefore, manufacturing has developed fast and laid solid foundations for further economic growth. Meanwhile, modern service industry, as a new economic trend, becomes more and more popular and important in the world, which can break the limitation of nature resources. Under the new industry trend, how do development zones adapt to the big change and develop more fasted? It is the concern of government, public organizations, development zones, specializations and so on.As the change of world investment structure, the quantity of service capital has evidently exceeded the quantity of manufacturing capital. However, because of special situations, china is on the disadvantageous position of developing modern service industry. Development zones, relying on solid economic foundation, advanced technologies, rich talents and good policies, will play distinct roles on the development of Modern service industry and lead the direction of industry development. The author, using the methods of theory and data analysis, analyzes the inter-relation and relative factors between development zones and modern service industry based on the others' research and our own research result. Then the author builds up the map of inter-relation to clarify the development zones and modern service industry clearly and gives targeted suggestion to better the relation between them. The dissertation is divided into eight parts, each part of abstracts as follows:The first part is research summary.It analyses the background of this research, explicates research question as well as the research goal and the significance, and explains the research methods, the research way and the research possible innovation. The second part is theory basis. It defines and explains the conception and the connotation of the development zones and modern service industry. At the same time it induces systematically the research status quo home and abroad of the development zones and modern service industry relevant theory and development trends.The third part is to set forth the concept of development zones and modern service industry, and descript the state of the relation between development zones and modern service industry. It can be the foundation of the fourth part and the fifth part.The fourth part is about the effect of the development zones on modern service industry, which mainly focuses on the building up modern service industry groups. Firstly, it clarifies the modern service industry groups' relevant content and its index system. Secondly, according to the introduction of the groups, it analyzes the effect of development zones on the groups' development through three aspects, including manufacturing, headquarter economic and consumed companies.The fifth part is about the effects of modern service industry on the development zones, which specially focuses on the improving competitive power of development zones. It analyzes from two aspects of investment environment and industry to clarify the roles of modern service industry on competitive power.The sixth part is to build up the model of inter-relation between development zones and modern service industry. It is the innovation of this thesis. It is simply and clearly built up from five aspects including city, company, development zones, modern service industry and basic factors. And it is provided the detailed content and the methods of inter-acting.The seventh part is to give targeted suggestion. It aims at giving suggestion of improving the inter-relation between development zones and modern service industry through the views of government, development zones and companies.The eighth part sums up the research. It summarizes the conclusion of this research, and it also states this article's limitation and the future possible research direction.
