Performance management, the important component of the modern management mechanism of human resource , links the employment of departments and employees with the strategic goal of enterprise, improving the realization of the management goals. At the same time through the enforcement of performance management, it offers supports in various aspects such as the development, employment, training, promotion, emolument and overall encouragement of human resource.The performance management of the grass-root branches of state-owned commercial bank is one comprehensive subject that fuses finance and management, which is prospective and practical. But now, few grass-roots branches carry out performance managements, which are still in the process of outstanding achievement assessment. This paper is taking GD branch of China's Construction Bank as an object, and makes analysis on its outstanding achievement assessment.At first, the developing history,organization condition and the current situation of human resource of GD branch organization are introduced, and then the past assessment project, reflection and effect after implementing performance assessment projects during each stage are introduced. I also make analysis on outstanding achievement assessment of the whole company, branches and employees, and on the aspect of the relation among the three levels of performance management by the use of encouragement theories.On the bases of that, I point out the problems existing in the present assessment projects from four aspects about the situation of GD branch by the use of KPI method. We brought forward many ameliorate advices from four aspects, getting into debt, benefit, the quality of credit, retail operation. I hope that these suggestions can play a role in promoting the development in the future of performance management.
