3PL-The Must-be Choice For Chinese Forwarders Among Developing Routes

After the emerging of 3PL(3rd Party Logistics), sustained by its own advantages and together with the acceptance of more and more enterprises and customers, 3PL has been rapidly developed, and has been famed for the"accelerator"to the developing of the enterprise,"the 3rd profit energizer"and 21st century"Golden Industry", 3PL will become the new source of economic growth and the main stream of future logistics development. 3PL, as one of the most important modes of logistics operation, has been putted into a more and more important position by the enterprises. Reviewing the development of 3PL in China, many 3PL has been developed from the traditional freight forwarding, under the subsection of customer's demands of transportation, warehousing and distribution, the new mode has gradually emerged to provide the more customer-oriented and diversified service, it is called"3PL".This thesis begins with the definition of 3PL in theory, and also introduces the importance of developing 3PL, then further analyzes the difficulties to be faced with during the transformation from the traditional freight forwarding service to 3PL and the developing of 3PL, the proposals to cope with such difficulties have also been referred in this thesis, and ends with touching upon the prospect of 3PL developing in China.
