Analysis Of Regional Logistics Competitiveness Model And Construction Of Reticulate-diamond Model

As the formation of logistics industry, the position and function of the logistics industry in the regional economy development become more and more important. Because of its strong relevance, the regional logistics industry pulls a rapid development of industry supply chain; and which becomes a new"growth pole"or"the third profit source"in the regional economy. However, the theoretical problems related to the regional logistics industry is still a new field, the depth and width of its theoretical research are sill far from enough.This paper put emphasis on the theoretical problems related to the regional logistics competitiveness. First defines the concept and connotation of the regional logistics competitiveness through interpreting the relevant theoretical concepts; Second chooses five representative theoretical models of regional logistics competitiveness, they are: Diamond Model, IMD Competitiveness Evaluation Model, Direct- indirect Competitiveness Model, Three Competitiveness System Model and Bowstring Theory Model. The analysis of these models establishes the basis of the new model construction; And then combining with the existing models, constructs a new theoretical model of the regional logistics competitiveness: Reticulate -diamond Model, based on traditional regional economy theory, comparative economics theory and regional competitiveness theory. This model is composed by seven factors: logistics enterprises competitiveness, factor situation, supply and demand situation, environment competitiveness, government function and industry supply chain competitiveness; Last according to this new model, builds up the index evaluation system of regional logistics competitiveness based on China's practicality.The research of this paper could provide theoretical support for regional logistics competitiveness evaluation, and its index evaluation system may be used in comprehensive comparison between regions. It can also provide not only the positive evidence for analyzing and evaluating the development track of regional logistics industry objectively, but also the important reference for better and faster harmony of regional economy development.
