Abstract/Summary:
From Porter advancing the "competitive advantage" theory, the study on competitiveness gradually become a cosmopolitan hotspot. The study on tourism competitiveness is a part of the study on competitiveness, a lot of scholars have studied this problem, and obtained many productions. Looking back these productions, a lot of them were obtained at the base of countries, cities, tourism destinations and tourism enterprises, range of the study was from macro-scope aspect to microcosmic aspect. But, the study on competitiveness of tourist line that is very especial and important principal in was very few.The tourist line is a combination of a series of tourism productions containing 6 essentials in tour, its competitiveness is the core of region tourism competitiveness. This article studies on the tourist line competitiveness, attempts to set up a model and index system about the tourist line competitiveness, then evaluates the tourist line competitiveness. The author considers that the study will have important meaning for tourist lines orientating it-self, designing rationally, participating in competition and cooperation in a region.Based upon a systematic review of the latest achievements in the research on tourist line, competitiveness and tourist line competitiveness, and a expatiate about the relational basal theory on the tourist line competitiveness, this article sets up a estimate model of tourist line competitiveness—"two circles" model, and brings forward a set of 41 indicators for the tourist line competitiveness. After calling on 10 experts, the author uses Delphi as tools to identify effective indicators and thus set up a tourist line competitiveness indicator framework. The framework consists of two main arrangements, the core competitiveness contains 6 sub-factors, which are eating, housing, traveling, visiting shopping, relaxing, and a total of 25 indicators; the sustaining competitiveness contains 3 sub-factors, which are region economy, region culture, government management, and a total of 6 indicators. The summation of indicators is 31. Analytic Hierarchy Process is used to workout the weight of each of the 42 indicators.In order to validate that the tourist line competitiveness model and tourist line competitiveness indicator framework is scientific and applied or not, the author chooses 8 typical tourist sightseeing lines to study in Sichuan province. The author uses question paper to gain their data. Finally, the author uses SPSS13.0 computer software to analyze these data, combining the evaluating measure, gains the final scores. Arranging the scores, the author gains the compositor about the 8 tourist sightseeing lines. The demonstration indicates that the tourist line competitiveness model and tourist line competitiveness indicator framework are scientific and applied, and them are also definite prevalent applied for the similar region and similar tourist lines all over the country.
