Strategic human resource management, which emerged in the mid and late 80's has been expanding and growing for the recent 20 years with more advances in this development.Strategic management of human resources has three characters of taking human being as the dominant factor; the key function in its practicing enterprises countermeasures; and its deep concern of each level of the whole enterprise. Enterprises must adopt several planned, strategic management of human resources in order to bring about their development targets.The study goal of this dissertation is to explain positive impact and function way to firm performance of strategic human resources management theoretically, and point out that knowledge creative ability is very important factor of firm performance. Based on that, propose the countermeasure and tactics of strategic human resources management to improve knowledge creative ability. In order to realize the aforesaid goal, the thesis has carried on the research as following: First, the writer have summarized the research results of the relation between strategic human resources management and firm performance, confirmed that intermediate variable is a feasible way to study the mechanism SHRM impact on firm performance. Secondly, analysis strategic human resources management theory, firm's performance theory, knowledge innovation theory. Thirdly, give the concept of knowledge creative ability and analyze the structure and influence aspects. Forth, point out index of firm performance and get a result that knowledge creative is very important to firm performance. Fifth, analysis the impact way of SHRM to firm performance, explain that SHRM practices may change and mould workforce characters and firm innovation culture which both effect to the knowledge creative ability of firm, and the knowledge creative ability of firm determine the firm performance. Fifth, and based on this theory, the writer explains that SHRM affects the knowledge creative ability and the measures to improve. Finally we summarize the articles and give evaluation.
