With the coming of knowledge economy, as developed countries, the largest labor is knowledge-based labor, not manual labor. In knowledge-based enterprise, there is a new management paradigm developing, just means self-management which was put forward by Drucker. He posed this management idea in his series of writings. Self-management is management practice, to his own thought and behaviors, which is under some historical conditions, individuals adopt to rational self-control, self-replacement study by oneself and so on. Its aim is to realize human value and satisfy the need of human beings self-realization. Self-management is not only the mode of existence of personal, but also is the existence of organization. Also it is a necessary result of humanist management. To China, there are some obstructions in developing, but there is a large potentiality about this idea. Enterprise management starts to attach importance to"human", and combines scientific management and humanist management, it is essential to promote all-round development of human being and all-round development of the society. |
