Automobile is the most important inventions and one of the pillar industries in human society of the past 100 years. As a "world-changing machines," it went to the consumption and use of all aspects of human life. As a product of large-scale industrial production machines, it has its breakthrough significance in technical aspect, which has penetrated into the human culture and their life. This paper studies the development of automotive technology, and use technical and cultural theory, popular culture theory, consumer social theory and other relevant theoretical knowledge to discuss that the instinct in individual's personality and competition has played an important role in the development of automotive technology and how the production and development of the automobile changes the life of human. It also summarized the principles behind the design of different automobile brand's unique technology and discussed how a humanistic spirit is required to be a successful automobile brandThe understanding of the consumption and cultural of automobiles is based on automobiles advertisings, it analysis symbol elements widely used in advertisings like boat, golf, animals, animated cartoons which reveals that the automobiles advertisings cater to consumers entertainment and fashion desire and they reflect the multi-cultural significance in the consumption of automobiles. The appeal of "sex" in automobiles advertising and a proper channel of automobiles advertising were analyzed and discussed.
