The purpose of this thesis is to provide some theoretical support and practical guides for Chinese state-owned commercial banks in Business Process Reengineering. This thesis combines theory and practice, and uses a lot of comparative analysis, based on theories such as management theory and the theory of recycling banks. Firstly this thesis gives systematic explanation on the Business Process Reengineering and Business Process Reengineering in the banking, followed by an in-depth analysis of the current business processes and the main defects of Chinese state-owned commercial banks. Finally, based on the theory of Business Process Reengineering and the advanced international experience in banking Business Process Reengineering, the thesis provides some operating ideas for Business Process Reengineering of Chinese state-owned commercial banks.In this thesis, the first chapter describes the background and significance of this research, and briefly reviews the research literature, the theoretical research methods and the main content. ChapterⅡdescribes the theoretical origins back to the recycling banks and the theory of Business Process Reengineering and Business Process Reengineering in the banking, then reviews and analyzes the effect of Business Process Reengineering in international commercial banks. ChapterⅢ, analyzes the disadvantages of the business process status in Chinese state-owned commercial banks and the advanced business processes of Western commercial banks. ChapterⅣ, analyzes how the Chinese state-owned commercial banks can implement Business Process Reengineering and provides the principles, objectives, specific steps and strategies.Ⅴ, gives several design options of Business Process Reengineering in Chinese state-owned commercial banks.Ⅵ, provides a case analysis for the personal loans of JS Bank to Business Process Reengineering. ChapterⅦ, gives the conclusion and points out things that need to be done next.
