To appraise the human resource management(HRM) performance incorporations, is an important means to find and correct disadvantages intheir human resource management in order to improve their benefit. Andit's also an approach for HRM departments to bring forth their productionto make others admit their hard working. Reviewing all the research inHRM management appraisal, we can find that many methods don't havea theoretical support or a positive research, so the validity of thesemethods is suspectable. Further more, Every industry has itscharacteristic, and the HRM in retailing corporations also has its feature.But there has no research on retailing corporation's HRM performanceappraisal. This article attempts to contrapose the feature of retailingcorporations' HRM, then use the theory of employee satisfaction andpositive method to probe into the method of its performance appraisal.After reviewing the theory of employee satisfaction, we analyse thefacts that influence employee satisfaction, and abstract the facts that canbe controlled by HRM to establish a set of indexes which include three lays (the harmony of HRM policies and practice, the implement of HRMactivities, the effect of HRM activities) and nine indexes (the harmony ofpolicies, the harmony of practice, employee equipment, salary andwelfare, employee training, performance appraisal, career management,personnel relationship) for retailing corporations' HRM appraisal; thenwe dispense the questionnaires to some retailing corporations inHangzhou, and use the SPSS software to analyse the datum in order tocheck up and correct the index frame. After that, we use the AnalyticHierarch Process (AHP) to confirm the weight of every index, and wealso establish a standard for marking and level partition. Finally, in orderto validate the validity of the model, we use the model to appraise theHRM performance of Hangzhou Lianhua Huashang Group Co.LTD andHangzhou Baida Group Co.LTD.The article is established in the theory of employee satisfaction, anduse the system concept to analyse the indexes and set up an index frame,then use the positive approach to deal with the indexes. So there's somecreation in the pick-up and check-up of indexes that make the modelscientific and practical for the use in retailing corporations' HRMperformance appraisal.
