Based on my practical inspection of Jinxiu Yao villages, I find that Yao has a unique child-rearing custom. Its cultural heredity mainly depended on their family, festivals, and rallies as educational ways. Its form is flexible and diverse which integrated with traditional customs and culture. That is the foundation of Yao's child-rearing custom that can be inherited from generations to generations, and maintaining strong ethnic characteristics when Yao is in relatively poor condition of early childhood education. The essay is trying to create a full and comprehensive description of custom from the perspective of education anthropology to sum up the characteristics of Yao's child-rearing custom. Jinxiu Yao's child-rearing custom reflect the spirit of native culture, which focuses on children'health, however it pays insufficient attention to the intellectual development of children, and with a deep local culture. As to tap the cultural background of Yao's child-rearing custom inherited from generations to generations and one of the reasons why Yao's child-rearing custom is popular, that is Yao's ancestor worship and reminds their children not forgot it any time .Yao's constant movement has become the basic protection of Yao's child-rearing custom inherited from generations to generations. Yao's social productive forces level is low. And the slow development of culture and science provide a base of Yao's child-rearing custom.Through the reveal of three levels of Yao's child-rearing custom (prohibition customs, rites, child-rearing custom) to analysis Yao's child-rearing custom from conception to birth from growing up to the death ,and choose the good ,reject their dross. Finally, put the revelation of modern pre-school education from analysis of anthropology that is, all take child's free health development as the goals; second put the basic living education as the main contents; Third the full close contact to nature is conducive to the healthy growth of children and their physical and emotional security; fourth, situational means is more conducive to the education of receiving knowledge and understanding.
