Along with the globalization of the world economy, the role that air transport plays in the transportation industry and the international economy is getting so important that it has become one of the basic industries, which are the most influential in strengthening the comprehensive competitive power of a country. It is very challenging now days, however, for every enterprise that is expecting to survive the intense market competition and make continuous progress. In the market competition, one of the vital factors for the enterprises is the quality of the products and service. Due to the averageiy low level of the quality control of our country, we do not have strong competitive power in the product-and-service market. The enterprises of China have to figure out a way to improve the quality control and get closer to the advanced standard. Being an airline food industry, Inner Mongolia Lantian airline service share co. Ltd. (shortened as Lantian airline in the following text) is confronted with the same problem.In this dissertation, the author analyses the situation of quality control of Lantian airline and finds out the existing problems. Then he deeply studies the theories, the developing phases and trend of the modern quality control. It is believed that quality control has developed into the comprehensive-quality-control stage, namely the quality problem cannot be resolved depending only on quality control and it is necessary to combine all kinds of controlling systems and set up a comprehensive-quality-control system.In the end, the author puts forward the methods and strategies for improving the quality control of Lantian airline, hoping to raise the level of the comprehensive management of Lantian airline and the competitive power of the airline food industry.
