A Study On The Develop Orientation Of Urban Agglomeration Of Central China: Bases On Rising Of Central China

The Central China is by component with six provinces, including Henan province, Hubei province, Hunan province, Jiangxi province, Anhui province and Shan'xi province. The region stands on some superior conditions: which links the East region of China and the West, has convenient transport facilities, and it's very rich in lots resource of mineral, and the natural endowments of the region is much well too. Besides, the region has a large number of populations.As we know, this is a Double-edged sword——which is a favorable condition of regional development and is also a stern problem. The region is an important region with great strategic significance to China. Due to some historical and practical reasons, the pace of economic development of the central region is slower than any other regions. And this leads economic depression to the central zone, forms the central depression economic zone in the fact sense. To implement the scientific development concept, coordinating regional development, and achieves sustained economic growth of the country and building a harmonious society. The government has considering and implementing the major strategic which is called "the rising of the Central China".Under the influence of the rapid development of Globalized Economy and regional integration, the regional competition and cooperation are increasingly frequent, urban agglomeration has take the role the basic geographic units of national and regional competitiveness in the global economy and international division in the fact. From some mature experiences of the formation and development of the urban agglomeration in domestic and abroad, urban agglomeration's emergence and development is the inevitable results on regional economic development and the process of urbanization level, and the development of urban agglomerations will also have a tremendous role in economic development and the urbanization process of the region. Urban agglomeration is playing an increasingly prominent leader role on the process of regional integration. For the central region which is backward on economic development in relatively, selected and nurture the urban agglomerations as the growth pole of regional development is not only following the background of the economic environment of international and domestic, and also followed the objective requirements achieving to"the rise of the Central China".The central region of China has some unique conditions. These conditions and the status of the development decided the develop model of the central region should be multipolar with poly-pole's network. Bases on these factors, analysis the functional division and take accurate position on the urban agglomerations of the Central China take important place on intergrate all the resources of this region to realize development. And it also is an important thing to increase communication and exchange of all the urban agglomerations in this region and promote the whole area developing in coordinated model. And all of these have great significance on the rising of the Central China.In this paper, the author does some combinations of theoretical research and empirical analysis, besides selected of some appropriate indexes to establish the Comprehensive Strength Estimate Indicators System of the urban agglomerations of the Central China, the author also establish a mathematical model related to do factor analysis. This paper does some quantitative analysis on development condition of the major urban agglomerations of the Central China with the help of SPSS13.0. After analysis on the result, the author summarizes some problems on development of urban agglomerations of the Central China.Refer to the results, in connection with analysis on the development conditions, geographic location, resources, industrial base and other factors of the urban agglomeration; this paper proposes a model of urban agglomerations in promoting the rise of the Central China. That is take city clusters of Henan province and Wuhan City-sphere as the growth pole of central region, supported by other urban agglomerations. To select and adopt a develop model tows by double core, poly-pole's network.Finally, this paper brings up some suggestions to the functional division and development orientation on the urban agglomerations of the Central China.
