Continuous, fast and healthy development of Chinese economy, and that all walks of lifein China attach great importance to logistics trade, has produced fine circumstances for thedevelopment of logistics trade. However, as logistics market of China opens to the outsideworld totally, and large-sized logistics enterprises at abroad have speeded up the pace ofcontending for the logistics market of China. So, to grasp the opportunity in intensecompetition and to put themselves in invincible position, logistics enterprises have to seekcompetitive edge for maintaining their long-run development.Proceeding from the considerations of domestic logistics enterprises, this thesis holdsthat the advantage of customer value is the really competitive edge. So I analyze that how toimprove customer value of logistics enterprises, and put forward three approaches to improvevalue of logistics enterprises, so as to provide actual reference for logistics enterprises.The thesis first analyzes the development situation of logistics at home and abroad,elaborates the instructive significance of improving customer value for logistics enterprisesand puts forward the framework of thesis. Then it explains several relevant concepts in detail,describes the specific properties of logistics service, and the relationship between logisticsenterprise and its customer. After that, it analyzes the compositions of customer value inlogistics enterprise, and based on them, this thesis presents approaches to improve value oflogistics enterprises. At last, it formulates some concrete measures from three differentaspects—reducing customer operational cost, increasing added value service, and improvingthe service quality of logistics enterprises in detail.
