Advance In Technology And Local Economy Development

Within the framework of STS research, economic development deserves the most attention. In the contemporary world, science and technology change with each passing day and information economy rapidly rises. The pace of science and technology's transforming into realistic productivity becomes increasingly rapid. The ties among economy, science and technology gradually gets close and science and technology advancement and innovation have become the decisive factor of the advancement of productivity and the motivation of economic development.This paper takes the economic development of Ping Dingshan as a case and makes in-depth researches on the dialectical relations between science and technology advancement and economical development and their interactive relationships in the practice from the following three aspects: the industrial economy, the characteristic economy and the recycle economy.Through analyzing scientific and technological restrictive factors in the development of local economy, this paper discusses the importance and function of science and technology advancement in pushing forward the adjustment of local industrial structure and the upgrade of local industry; through researching on the category and mechanism of the local characteristic economy, this paper discusses the importance and function of science and technology advancement in the formation and development of the local characteristic economy and puts forward advices in the development policy of local characteristic economy; Through analyzing the connotation of recycle economy, this paper discusses the material and technological foundations for the development of local recycle economy and puts forward advices in the development policy of local recycle economy.
