The high-speed development of the modern society, has been not merely promoting rapid economic development, but imposing increasing heavy pressures on young people's lives and career developments. Placed in fierce social competition, buffeted against the inner and outside pressures, the busy young souls experience more or less some negative reactions of bad symptoms in their bodies and minds. But western region little enterprise employee conduct and actions the special community of the special region, bear the high pressures resulting from the social changes and the transition of economic system, and shoulder the great expectations of the society and their families as well. Especially Be reforming to open, our country the small enterprise obtain today of fast development, pressures from Society,family and other fields make them suffered heavily on minds, even lead to various psychological problems gradually. Numerous researches on the small enterprise discovered that the emergence of abnormal psychological problems relates greatly to their daily stressors, coping styles and social support. Thus in the study "stress" is chosen as a key element to investigate western region little enterprise employee.With the method of questionnaire investigation, 300 little enterprise employees were samplified in the study. By self-compiled 'Questionnaire of Employees' Stressors in the small Enterprise' in combination with psychological assessment using the simplified coping styles questionnaire (SCSQ),social support questionnaire (SSQ) ,symptom checklist 90(SCL-90),center for epidemiologic studies depression scale (CES-D), trait anxiety inventory (TAI) and Distress Symptom Scale (DSS), the stressors, coping styles, social support and mental health of the little business enterprise employee were investigated. All the data colleted were statistically analyzed by the software program of SPSS13.0 .The conclusions of this study included:①The self-compiled 'Questionnaire of Employees' Stressors in the small Enterprise' has good reliability and validity and meets the standard of psychometrics.②There exits significant difference of stressor, coping style, social support and mental health among different groups; all factors of stressor have significant positive correlation with all factors of SCL-90, and most of its factors have significant positive correlation with coping style, and significant negative correlation with social support; negative coping is significantly positively correlated to every factor, and positive coping has significant positive correlation with most factor of SCL-90; social support is negatively correlated to every factor of SCL-90.③The main stressors that employees face are family life and social environment. The stressors that can forecast mental health are human relationship factor, family life factor and social environment factor.④Positive coping is the mediator between stressors and mental health. In order to keep employees' mental health, enterprises should control the occurrence of stressors and provide consultant service for them to improve their capability to deal with stressors, have a clear idea and take effective coping style, and improve mental health.
