The postal mail service is composed of the common letter and postcards, registered letter, presswork and the business mail, is core service of the postal enterprise. "Average mail quantity per person" is an important symbol that measures the post developing level of a country , is also a main index sign that evaluates the information society.Enter since 21 centuries, along with the swift and violent development of the telecom industry, fast popularization of Internet, the development of the postal mail met the unprecedented challenge, the development of the mail service appeared stagnation once, even descend.This thesis first make a market analysis to the mail service of GanSu post, dissertate concretely from the marketing environment, requirement, product and the consumer behavior, and on this base analyse the strength, the weaknesses, the opportunities and the threats of the mail service in using SWOT tool; Then the thesis analyse the present marketing condition of the mail service of GanSu post, point out the existed problem of the mail service of GanSu post in the marketing process, segment the market of the postal mail service immediately after, select the target market, and give a fixed market position of the mail service of GanSu post; After have done the market analysis and the market positioning, the thesis get the marketing strategy of the mail service of GanSu post, and make an case analysis; Finally, the thesis get the data-based marketing strategy of the mail service of GanSu post, and make a case analysis.This thesis tries to use the basic marketing theories and related knowledge, analyse the mail service of GanSu post from the angle of the market marketing objectively.
