On the international financial sector, many foreign banks magnate, thought the words "corporate social responsibility" as a measure of whether they were modern enterprises. Therefore, many of the domestic banking sectors and regulatory authorities are increasingly aware that they should shoulder their "corporate social responsibility" in the current building a harmonious society and Deepings the financial reform process. So, what responsibility should commercial banks have? What the situation of China's commercial banks now? This thesis started from the corporate social responsibility theory, hoped making an objective evaluation of the current situation of social responsibility of Commercial banks. According to the main line of thought and research, this thesis is divided into five chapters. The overall content of this thesis constitutes the framework.The first chapter is a outlining for social responsibility of commercial banks. It discussed social responsibility for the system of commercial banks .At first, It definitude commercial banks'social responsibility according to the research at home and abroad. Second, it analyses the dynamic mechanism of the commercial banks social responsibility. Finally, it introduced the function that commercial banks assume the role of corporate social responsibility: First, it will help the long-term development of commercial banks; second, it could demonstrate to the public the economic strength of the commercial banks; third, it will bring about a good advertising effect; fourth, it is also likely to gain support from the government.Chapter 2 introduced the social responsibility of China's commercial banks. First, this chapter analyzes the social responsibility of the background of China's commercial banks. Second, this chapter briefly introduced the current situation of China's commercial banks social responsibility. Finally, this chapter analysis the existing problem of the social responsibility of commercial banks and countermeasures.Chapter 3 listed some measures to take to the problems. Focused on the existing problem, this thesis thought this is because China's commercial banks have not sufficient understanding of corporate social responsibility, lack of awareness of corporate social responsibility, lack of external pressure. In view of the problems that exist in the commercial banks social responsibility, it listed some measures that should be taken to solve these problems.Chapter 4 is the conclusion of the study. First, this chapter summarizes the conclusions of the analysis in previous chapters. Second, the author argues that with economic globalization and integration, China's commercial banks are facing many challenges of social responsibility. Mainly in the following aspects: First, application of new technologies and new challenges in social responsibility. Second, changes in human resources and social responsibilities of the new challenge.The innovations of this thesis are the followings:1. The topic of this thesis is novel. In recent years, corporate social responsibility activities have been growing concern in our society and have become a topic of discussion focus. But the study of corporate social responsibility is not enough in our country, particularly for commercial banks corporate social responsibility study also rarely.2. This thesis discussed the commercial banks theory of corporate social responsibility systematically. The study of commercial banks on corporate social responsibility theory in abroad is scattered. This thesis based on the theory of corporate social responsibility, discussed the connotation, the driving mechanisms and the role of the Commercial Bank corporate social responsibility systematically.
