After China's entry into WTO, quantities of strong transnational corporations rapidly entered into Chinese market. For one thing, it has accelerated Chinese enterprises'process of internationalization. For another thing, it has led intensely competition. In the practice of competition, more and more high level managers in enterprises have realized clearly that there is a special and feasible enterprise business model (EBM) behind every strong transnational corporation, which has become the key point for these corporations in the market competition. However, at present, it has not formed an unified and relatively intact theoretical framework of the study on EBM, and there are still many theoretical vacancies in this field. Based on that, we try to search for an new perspective to explore the essence as well as the achievement ways of EBM in this article, and find out the general laws hided behind the complex phenomenon in order to guide Chinese enterprises to achieve the successful innovation of EBM.In the article, we have used the researching methods such as logical deduction, comparative analysis, case study, and experiential induction, to make full explanation of the essence as well as the achievement ways of the innovation of EBM. We have studied Michael Porter's value chain method in depth, and then make a comparatively intuitionistic analysis of the different achievement modes and disclose the essence of the innovation of EBM based on enterprise basic value chain and its different changing modes in the industrial value chain. According to the different modes of innovation, we can classify EBM into five basic types including integrative model, deintegration model, innovating model, mixed model, and mixed innovation model. Then we analyze the evolutional Institution and process of EBM from the perspectives of its ultimate drive, internal and external circumstances, etc. Following that, we make a comprehensive comment on the innovation of EBM from many perspectives such as earning capacity, speed of growth, social reputation, and market influence, and so on. At last, we make an comprehensive analysis on DELL model based on the theory of enterprise value chain innovation, and certificate the validity and feasibility of this theoretical model. According to the analysis in the article, we find that, in essence, EBM is an efficient integration of the whole value activities. On the premise of certainly external hypothesis and internal resources as well as capacity, the EBM in a special industry is a function of enterprise value chain, and it can be seen as an integration of effective combination of the whole value activities and the relationships among all interest parts. Consequently, we come to the conclusion that the essence of the innovation of EBM is an innovation and efficient integration of enterprise value activities. This conclusion has very important significance for the later theoretical study of EBM, meanwhile, it is also important to guide our Chinese enterprises to make the efficient innovation of EBM. Our Chinese enterprises could create and keep certain comparable advantage of competition by the innovations of EBM those match their real situation.
