China is one of the biggest countries for the exportation of textile. Textile industry is a pillar industry for China's economy. Textile, which is the main commodity in the trade between China and EU, has a strong competition in markets and shows advantages in the European markets. The textile trade between China and EU continues to increase. China has become the first biggest supply country of textile for EU. At the same time, China is the second biggest market for the importation of textile materials. EU, whose importation amount is less than America and Japan, is the third biggest exportation market. Therefore, it is significant to make a research on the textile trade between China and EU. It mainly includes the present situation of the textile of China and EU, the basic characteristics, the analysis of SWTO of the textile trade between China and EU and the conflicts in the textile trade between China and EU.Chapter four states the developing tendency of the textile trade between China and EU and measures to deal with. Through the analysis of the former parts, foretell the future of the textile trade between China and EU. In addition, countermeasures and suggestions have been stated according to the serious situation the exportation of textile of our country confronts.Chapter three and chapter four are the main body of the thesis. Based on the understanding of the relevant theory and the legal documents of the textile trade, the discussion of the present developing situation of the textile trade between China and EU, characteristics and existing problems, put forward the available measures we can take to deal with them.
