Research And Thinking On The Construction Of New Socialist Countryside In Developed Economic Areas

Building new socialist countryside is an important strategic measure established by the CPC central committee in the new period to solve the problem of "farmers, villages and agriculture." However, approaches and measures of building new socialist countryside is obviously proportional due to the divisification of main contradictions facing different development in rural areas and enormous imbalance of economic and social development among different regions in China. Only by combining with the actual circumstance of different rural areas, can the ways and measures of building new countryside realize the substantial results. With the implement of building new countryside and exploration and practice from all kinds of aspects, a lot of paragons have appeared in the developed economic regions which are the bellwether of social development. However, there also exists a few problems and contradictions. Whether these problems can be solved promptly and accurately will determine if the construction of the new countryside will succeed in developed economic regions, and also determine if the society of these regions will be harmonious and stable. The research on this field can promote the development of the new countryside construction in the developed economic regions.This thesis introduces the history of countryside construction systematically, and summarizes the characteristics, contents and modes which are based on the background of new countryside construction. Combined with the characteristics of new countryside in the developed economic regions, it puts forward relevant theory about the construction of new countryside in the developed economic regions. Taking Xingmin village in Hangzhou as the case, the paper has launched detailed case study, and has conducted questionnaire or interview investigation on three kinds of people, which includes villagers, village staff and migrant workers. Through the investigation, it can be discovered that different groups of people have different expectations to the construction of socialist new countryside and the current main problems of new countryside construction in the developed economic regions have no direct relation with agriculture. Based on the analysis of the causes of these problems, the following measures are put forward, which are to: fully develop the dominat roles of farmers, realize the development of economy, properly solve the problems of farmers' employment, improve the relevant management, and guarantee the right of migrant workers. Finally it points out the innovative ideas in the thesis could provide theoretical and practical references for the construction of new countryside in peripheral areas and other developed economic regions.
