The unemployment is the international society long-term matter of concern. When Various countries solute unemployment problems, one of key attention communities is the youth. The unemployment of youth is the most serious in each age section population. The solution to youth's unemployment is the need of comprehensive construction well-off society and harmonious and sustainable development of society.This article takes the demography and the economic theories as the foundation, unifies our country's concrete national condition and the statistical data, analyzes the unemployment problem of 16-24 years-old youth. At the basis of analyzing the labor statistic and census data, the situation of town unemployed youth is serious. First, the town youth unemployment rate is higher than the total unemployment rate. Second, the town youth unemployment rate is higher than the adult unemployment rate. Third, the unemployment rate of the youth is the highest of all the age section. The unemployment of the male is much worse than the female. Fourth, the registered unemployment rate is higher than the surveyed unemployment rate. Fifth, the unemployment rate of the youth has experienced from high to low process, displays instability and undulate situation.3.This article multi-analyzed the reason why the youth is unemployed. Second, controlling the supply quantity of the labor force. Third, enhancing the quality of the youth labor force. Expanding the opportunity to accept the education, strengthening youth's professional skill, reforming the education system and pattern. Fourth, strengthening the information network construction of the labor force and student's career guidance work. Fifth, taking more attention on the legislative work, consummating the unemployment insurance system. Sixth, encouraging the youth to start an undertaking independently.
