Since the reform and open policy, especially the recent years, along with the high-speed growth of China's foreign trade, our foreign trade has repeatedly suffered from antidumping investigations, and now we have already reached a peak. According to the statistics, there are 36 countries or regions initiating 620 antidumping investigation cases on more than 4,000 kinds of products from 1979 to 2005, which has affected nearly 20 billion US dollars on China's export trades. Only in 2004, there are 16 countries or regions initiating antidumping investigations on China, which involves 1.3 billion US dollars. It is extremely unreasonable that our country's export volume only accounts for a small part of the world's total volume, for example, in 2004 it is only 6.5%, but the frequency of suffering from antidumping measures is bigger than other countries or regions.
