Bill of quantities is a wide-used method for construction bidding management internationally. Also, bill of quantities is a useful method for project investment control.Since Code of Valuation with Bill Quantity of Construction Works enforced from July 1st, 2003, application of this method was restricted due to the market retrain in China because of the immature market economy and the traditional mode of quota.With entranced into WTO and impacted by growing of strength, the international construction cooperation became more and more, and the proportion of GDP of construction grew steadily. How to use the BQ are the requirements of developing market economy and of regulating the project investment management.The thesis mainly discussed the investment decompose, bidding and cost claim under the mode of BQ from the total life cost of investment control, and deduced the models and methodologies. Then, the models and methodologies were testified in the paper with the project case based different subjects and related data of construction project.This dissertation is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1 introduced the research actuality of project investment.Chapter 2 introduced the conception, the character, and the contents of BQ, and then compared code of valuation between BQ and enterprise quota.Chapter 3 introduced the principle, the methods and the process of investment control of construction project.Chapter 4 introduced the mode of decompose of construction project investment based on DTC.Chapter 5 introduced the tendering and bidding of construction project under the mode of BQ.Chapter 6 introduced the method of cost calculation based on project change and project claim under the mode of BQ.
