As an important aspect of supply chain logistics, the reverse logistics is ignored by academia and business circles for a long time. In recent years, with the implementing gradually thoroughly of sustainable development strategy, because it can realize the resource recycling of useless goods and can control environmental pollution efficiently the reverse logistics is gradually being paid attention to.Compared with foreign research results, our researches are still at the threshold of the field, and there are few articles about the reverse logistics. Besides enterprises can enhance their competitiveness by implementation well developed reverse logistics management in confrontation of heating competitions and challenges. There are important realistic meanings in the research of the control and management of the reverse logistics.In view of this, the research of the inventory control and management under the environment of the reverse logistics is discussed in this paper.Chapter one and two of this thesis introduce the definition of the reverse logistics, points out the research value of the reverse logistics, and analyses the domestic and overseas status in quo of research in store of reverse logistics. Chapter three reviews the rudimentary knowledge of the traditional stock theory, and proposes the goal held in store of the reverse logistics on this basis, analyses it and traditional difference held in store. Chapter four put forward two kinds of methods to solve the problem of the optimum product and repair quantity under the different conditions and the condition of the stable demands. These methods base on the hypothesis that the manufacturing products and the remanufacturing products are identical and the traditional EOQ model. In chapter five a return inventory model with a single remanufacturing product stocked, and a constant demand is presented for periodic review models. A stochastic optimal control strategy is presented based on the unit coat of remanufactured and new parts, and fixed cost of new parts, and backorder costs. Illustration is given through a case study.Combined the characteristic of the reverse logistics stock on the basis of traditional inventory control, reverse logistics is introduced and some inventory control modules have been put forward and verified under the different conditions. This research has not only explored further the theory of inventory control for reverse logistics, but also provided reference to enterprises that implement inventory control in reverse logistics strategy on certain level.
