Abstract/Summary:
Generation by renewable sources can save the fuel cost and possesses good environmental performance. The appearance of distributed generation makes the penetration of renewable sources possible. However, they also possess many inherent disadvantages such as varying with locations and seasons and so on. So, a technical and economical analysis is necessary in evaluating and programming a program of distributed generation by renewable energy sources. In this paper, several renwable resource generations are discussed in technic. Furthermore, energy storage technics are analyzed separately. Finally, an example of sending electricity to remote area is given. By comparing the six methods, we found that the optimal choice is sending electricity by renewable resources distributed generation. In china, there are still a lot of people who live in remote area can't use electricity. So, developing renewable resources distributed generation in local area is a good choice.
